Hi All,

I've been watching the ridley report for a while now, and saw these forums mentioned there. so here i am.

i've been looking for a place to speak about my views without being banned. it seems to matter what forum i go to, whether it be about cars, guns, or motorcycles... any questioning of law enforcement gets your immediately banned. the syndicate has done a great job scaring the hell out of people.

I'm thinking about coming to porc fest and visiting NH. i currently live in rural oregon and our lives are being changed in ways we don't want everyday the legislature is in session, and it disgusts me.

i'm a software engineer and currently work from home, moving to NH is a valid choice for me if I am able to continue working from home. I know that i want to get out of oregon, but i can't decide on where i would like to go. I know Idaho is a "more free" state compared to oregon, i love the country there... i haven't had a chance to visit NH, or the east coast. but i am very wary of the east coast and statism there.

NH smacks of big government and the surrounding states are horrible.

What part of Oregon?  I grew up there.  :)

You can help change that. :) Everywhere is sliding towards more statism. It's only a matter of time before your life is invaded by bureaucrats and busy-bodies but at least in NH there's a cadre of people focusing on responsibility and freedom.

I'm personally of the opinion that most of the tyranny Americans see day to day is based on the Federal government, or most specifically, on their propensity to dangle money in front of the states. No state is immune from this, not NH or Idaho or Wyoming or any other decent candidate for a "free state".

Welcome to the forums. :)

Welcome! Having a job that can travel with you makes it much easier, as you know. If you're such a person, you could even move here and try it out - it it doesn't work for you, you can always move back, or move on to the next attempt (Idaho?). I hope to see you at PorcFest.

BAN HIM!!!! HOW DARE YOU QUESTION MASTER'S ARMED ENFORCERS!

That, and hello back at ya.

Kat Kanning

Here you just get banned for NOT questioning law enforcement  ;)

Wolf Woman

Welcome... I am new today to.  I always challange abuses of authority, could be why I ended up in jail without reasonable bail for a speeding ticket on my own "Private Road"  You think???

akmisrmaadi

yea i've been falsely arrested before, someone accused me of lane splitting on my motorcycle... no cop witnesses. they pulled me over 10 mins later in town and arrested me for "reckless driving" when no one but the accuser witnessed it and even what they said "lane splitting" is just a simply traffic ticket.

if i didn't have a family, good job, and a fiance. i would've found it much more difficult to keep my pistol in my pocket

The owners/moderators of any forum certainly have the right to control the content that they allow on their forums, up to and including banning those with views they strongly disagree with. Posting members of a forum may or may not agree with a person being banned or removed because of dissenting views, but the power to do so must lie with the owners/moderators of any forum as the only means of preventing trolls and flamers. Having pointed that out...

You're fine questioning authority here, but (just FYI) you might want to edit the sentiments expressed in your tag line on the left... It goes against the beliefs of some folks who don't agree with any armed resistance under any circumstances, especially against government.
