I realize this is a forum, not a news service.  People like to add their bit to the events discussed, that is the appeal of nhfree.

Lauren got mad at people talking and talking, instead of acting to improve the situation.
Yeah, I don't blame her. I mean, I don't see a problem with people joking or getting lost on tangents or valuing philosophical discussions over practical and productive action, but there are times when something is so important to me that it's frustrating when other people don't see it, too.
Indeed. Perhaps it was a good solution for her to vent some, and in a separate thread so that the thread helping Sam could get back on focus - she was solving 2 goals at once.
And hopefully some of the humor was able to relieve some of the frustration, instead of add to it.

I've never noticed you blathering.  I've seen you act on your ideals, even in the face of a year in jail. 
But then you turn and berate and insult your courageous self.  Show that guy some empathy, dude, he's on the frontiers liberation.  Maybe he's not perfect but I'll bet he knows more than you, you soul stomping monster!
