at the times that Kat is tempted to blow up the forum ... she is annoyed at piles of criticism, not at a lack of help
i don't want to throw the forum away for trolls and other annoying people, so I try to talk her out of it
at other times people complain about the forum and we tend to only listen to our friends and contributors
btw ... we are not in one of those times
what brought out that comment you quoted is another person we only know as an occasional poster on this forum attacking kat and siding with a person (anarcho jesse) we are actively trying to separate ourselves from ... I was letting him know that yes ... we occasionally get rid of people from our forum who contribute nothing but grief to this party :)

at this moment the forum pays for itself with ads and many people help maintain it voluntarily
and a few of us enjoy it
I am also glad to see some other forums are really taking off .... especially Free Keene right now ... with likeminded participants and positive activism.

every once in a while a bunch of people criticise us and Kat takes it hard sometimes ... it is good to remind some of those people that we do not owe them a place to spew venom.

but this forum is a place for occasional Friday tirades and PatK jokes ... people have to be used to it or wear flameretardant gloves like i do when I approach the keyboard ;)
