None of them were green.  They were blue, gray and white.  WTF?

Skip the electric part, and use a 2 cyl Chinese Changfa clone engine.  Run on veg or biodiesel...  DIY the whole thing, and it registers as a motorcycle.  Could probably land a price under $6000 and get 90+ mpg.

Depends on the state you title it in. CT considers it a car - safety glass, seatbelts, etc required.
