Wanted: scanner

Anyone have a scanner capable of OCR for sale?  It would need to be compatible with Win. Vista.

(I get so many prisoner letters....they have tons of time to type out letters, but my scanner doesn't do OCR, so I have to type them in..sigh.)

Kat - it's not the scanner, it's the software that you need for OCR....or at least that's how I have always done it. I use ScanSoft OmniPage.....it works well.....and I have used it on various scanners. If you have a scanner already, try looking for some freeware for OCR.

They have a windows version, but I have not tried it in windows... you could give it a shot.
