We'd certainly be better off if politicians at all levels adhered strictly to the Constitution. But since it's just a "goddamned piece of paper," a very long standing government policy Barack Obama is going to continue, and one backed up by the Supreme Court, it would have a lot less practical effect today.

Sorry, old Tom Jefferson, but you can't chain down a politician with a paper tiger. Especially when he can write his own pieces of paper.

I wish you well, those of you who pursue this approach, since good will certainly come of it if you're successful. But I believe that for the long term, we need to move beyond the Constitution. At this point I think it's only holding the liberty movement back.
