At the Portsmouth, NH town-hall forum on August 11th, Barack Obama tells two different stories about Medicare. At first, he tells the crowd that the government has mismanaged Medicare into a default in the next eight years, and that seniors should be afraid of it. Five minutes later, he tells another questioner that they should have confidence in government-provided care -- because they've done so well managing Medicare.
