We actually strapped big flashlights to the headlights when they were going out on a long trip from Atlanta to New Orleans. Turns out the alternator was shot and the car was about to die on us anyway.

You don't want to see jury-rig pictures from when our sewer line went bad here at Bunker Hill.

This site is great! Thanks for sharing, PatK. Should I be keeping an eye out for pictures of "fixes" from hospitals? Say, for example, completely hypothetically, hospitals in New York?

There is more than enough WTF-ness to carry you through the day with all of those.  ;D

Not any of my fixes!

However we recently had a "maintenance man"
"fix" a broken door knob by super gluing it.
