New Dover Facility To Serve Families Of War Dead

The military mortuary at Dover Air Force Base is opening a new facility to serve families traveling to Dover to witness the return of war casualties.

Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz will preside over the dedication of the new Center for Families of the Fallen on Wednesday.

The center will be staffed by counselors and support specialists who will assist families awaiting the return of their loved ones. It also will be a point of contact for families requesting follow-up counseling or other help as they cope with their loss.

Officials say the new center will be more convenient for both families and mortuary officials than the space now shared by the mortuary unit with the base's active duty and reserve wings.

They should let Super Walmart handle this.
They would do a much better job that is less expensive and more accountable.

Or they could just stop sending the military all over to world to kill and be killed.  I'm sure that would cost MUCH less.

But...but...then we'd have to employ them here! There are no jobs available for them!

Unless we give them the jobs the illegal aliens have. There we go; two problems solved!

This is the 'little talked about' unintended consequence of the 'bring them all back home' chant.
I think the only way out is to stop funding our military units stationed in other countries and pull their Passports.
