New Orleans PD Lt. pleads guilty; officers shot unarmed people

The lieutenant who investigated the police killing of two people at the Danziger Bridge after Katrina, has pleaded guilty to knowing that they were unarmed, and preparing false reports claiming they had shot at police.

He found the officers' initial reports so unbelievable that he personally re-wrote a 17 page report for them so it was believable enough that he could clear them in the investigation.
