Brass bar rule?

I was listening to a talk show this afternoon in which they were discussing strip clubs and one of the things that caught my attention was that NH has a brass bar rule in that the dancers must stay 4 feet from the audience and that lap dances are totally out of the question.

We aren?t even talking about prostitution but just a simple lap dance? so based on this I think we need a call to action!  I?m openly volunteering to help with any protests to have this law changed.  In fact I was thinking the same sort of protest that was done in Concord with the manicurist could be done here.  I?d be more then willing to help violate the law by paying a woman to give me a lap dance right on the stairs of the state capital.

But would you pay Seth Cohn to give you a lap dance?

Also, I hear the stripping laws don't allow full nude shows...so the dancers have to keep their underware around their ankles..

Those poor girls!  That is a safety issue!  They might trip!

At least their feet won't get cold...

What?s completely ironic is that NH while preventing full nude shows and disallowing touching they on the other hand allow nudist colonies where people can do just about anything they want all while being fully nude (nhnude.com)

Cool.  Can't think of anyone who'd do the lap dance.

I charge the standard $20 for one song.

I'd be happy to oblige anyone who wants one.

Lapdance on the capitol steps?  Brilliant!  (as in, Guinness commercial brilliant   ::))

Seth would likely find that too "wild" and "crazy"...

I think it will be too cold for this stunt until at least June.

Talk to me then...

Shrinkage?  It's starting out pretty small to begin with and it might end up in the negative numbers!

She'd risk arrest of course, so you may have to offer her some cocaine as an extra incentive.

(I'm only half joking.)

Seriously though, with the publicity that would generate, after she got out of jail, she'd have a huge amount of clients wanting to see her perform, and would likely be the best known stripper in NH after this event.  Considering that, perhaps you could talk to her club's owner and get him to agree to cover bail in return for the extra publicity.  Down here in Tampa there is a strip-club-owning libertarian, so I would guess you might be able to find an ally up there...
