The New Hampshire Historical Society
The New Hampshire Historical Society is the premier organization collecting, preserving, and sharing Granite State history.  Nowhere will you find a more extensive collection of archives and objects related to New Hampshire's history.

The Society's library is the most comprehensive resource in northern New England in the areas of New Hampshire and New England local history and genealogy.  Its collection includes 50,000 printed items, 800,000 pages of newspapers, 3,000 manuscripts collections, 2,300 maps, 200,000 photographs, and 7,000 broadsides.

The New Hampshire Historical Society is an independent, nonprofit organization, not a state-funded agency. All of our work to save and share New Hampshire's past depends on membership contributions from people like you.
