From VictoryNH:

On December 15, millions of Iraqis will defy the terrorists, risking their lives to exercise their right to vote.

Americans can support free Iraqis by going to school and work with a purple index finger from Monday, December 12th through Thursday, December 15th.

We hope you'll...

ink your right index finger purple or wear a purple ribbon,

email photos flashing your "Purple Finger 'V' for Victory in Iraq to Pictures@PurpleFingerForFreedom.Org,

ask teachers to teach a current events class based on the Purple Finger for Freedom Model lesson plan they can download for free at: purplefingerforfreedom.org ,

and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same.

We Americans cherish our freedom and it is time to let the good people of Iraq - and the rest of the world - know that we cherish their freedom, too.

Purple-fingered llovers of liberty are encouraged to gather at noon on Iraqi Election Day, December 15, at the statue of General John Stark - who originated the phrase "Live free or die; death is not the worst of evils" - for a photograph to be submitted to the PurpleFingerForFreedom.org site.

People who oppose the Iraq war should support this movement. The U.S. can't/won't withdraw until Iraqis can handle their own affairs in a relatively stable society.

Peace activists and freedom activists should show solidarity as Iraqis take their first tottering steps towards democracy.

I wonder how many Iraqi's will be boycotting the election there. We were pretty successful here .... I think voter turnout was less than half across NH this fall. :)
