It could be a remake of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'; where the pod husks are made of liberty book covers.

It could be a fun and interesting movie project.

QuoteRun!  Libertarians want to take over, and then leave you ALONE!  [...]

The irony of that poster does not apply to all "libertarians".

First of all, a large fraction of people who'd use the word "libertarian" are "left-libertarians" / socialists / mutualists who believe that "property is theft" - but I guess we've all decided to ignore that those people exist.

The remaining fraction, which is more closely associated with that word in USA'ian consciousness, often still fall short of fully recognizing Natural Rights.  They do not seek to form a complete philosophy, and rather accept total self-ownership as an axiom, which makes their arguments for Property Rights incomplete compared to those offered by the capitalists, especially when dealing with complex issues like "freedom of travel", flyover rights, homesteading asteroids, intellectual property, AI Rights, alleged existential risks, and of course Parents' Rights.

I have graduated from that school of libertarianism, and I know what lies beneath the obvious and intuitive argument.  The human civilization does not come about through people only "leaving each-other alone" but through cooperation that needs to occur according to predictable rulesets, which include restrictions on violence as well as other things.  Most libertarians choose to ignore economics and base their ideas on a fantasy that no one will ever establish voluntary institutions that establish security checkpoints, regulate guns and drugs, or encourage reproductive productivity and "family values" (ex. discrimination against homosexuals), even though all of those things constitute an evolutionary competitive advantage.  Since the economy is finite, people "voting with their feet" will experience economic pressure to conform to the trends that become dominant through cultural and economic competition.  Many libertarians also fail to understand (or willfully ignore) the logical need for gradualism, and expect governments to disappear in an instant, without an evolutionary process of any sort.

That poster applies to people who pursue seasteading or private land secession.  It also applies to intellectual libertarians who, in the meantime, focus on openly and honestly debating and building up their ideas in online forums - sadly most Free Staters are the polar opposite of that ideal.  That poster applies a lot less to people who stand in front of police cars in Keene, or practice intellectual dishonesty and call you a "troll" for not liking homosexuality and pot!
