As I see it, most people are stuck in the rut of thinking they are somehow beholden to the Government for their existence. If you choose to be beholden, then so be it, but must we all? Why should I be forced to obey that which I consider, for the most part, evil?

You forgot to read the "If they are owned" part.

I was pointing out that other animals are free UNTIL THEY ARE SUBJUGATED.
You left out plants and a lot of other life forms.

I thought that ,according to libertarians, property rights are the cornerstone of freedom.

Do animals have self-ownership?
Do they have property rights?
If they homestead property, do they own it?

If a human shoots or enslaves a free animal, is that the initiation of force, and is it wrong?

You shouldn't.
Is someone forcing you to stay inside the evil government's sphere of influence?

You can live like a moose, and you will be free, according to you.

The Government is using force against me.

Property rights are the cornerstone of human freedom.
