Yeah, the USA isn't the same as it used to be. But it is not over. Not even close. Rome lasted 1,000 years. The USA has gone for 232 years, and will last at least 100,000 years, since it is 100 times grander than Rome ever was. So you've got 99,768 years left of the USA, buddy.

Yeah, the USA isn't the same as it used to be. But it is not over. Not even close. Rome lasted 1,000 years. The USA has gone for 232 years, and will last at least 100,000 years, since it is 100 times grander than Rome ever was. So you've got 99,768 years left of the USA, buddy.

100,000 years?? That's a long time...Whether you subscribe to Global Warming or not the climate changes both literally and politically over the course of many years.  Plus, it's likely we'll have an ice age or two in the next 99,000 years. Hard to run a country when 1/2 of it is a mile under ice. The likely future? If I had to venture a guess, I'd say the USA won't exist in fifty years and very possibly less.  I'll be dead and you'll be old gumming your United Nations provided gruel from a filthy bowl in some giant refuge camp in the deep south. The USA corporate offices will have moved to the land mass formerly known as Mexico, the Mexicans will all have been deported from Mexico to the old south of the USA to guard the work camps and pick produce. A few hundred insurgents in Grafton, all named Bill Walker will still be holding out in the hills and John McCain will be serving his 14th term from a vat of chemicals keeping his brain alive and able to be easily manipulated by the shadow leaders of the world. 
Martial law will be the norm.  Marijuana crimes will be punishable by death, preceded by water boarding, per an RSA you will have authored during your short term in the NH House of Representatives as the Rep. from the Keene area.
Your mother will tell you not talk to strangers and eat all your gruel, there are people starving in India.
Oh yeah and Russell Kanning will be in jail for driving without a license.
