Happy birthday

November 15, 2012: my youngest turns 10 years old.

This means that exactly 10 years, 9 months, and 1 day ago, I married his mother.

We agreed that the four wonderful children we already had between us were plenty, and we wouldn't have any together.

And then God LOL'd all over the place.



Seriously, he was the glue that drew his four older siblings together, and he's so much younger that all of them have had turns at being the big brother/sister that he really needed.

I only wish he could have known his grandfathers, for whom he was named. John Lee Craig and David Allen Davis would have made sure that John David Craig was always supplied with stories and bicycles and opportunities to work with wood or wrenches.

Happy birthday, Bubba. I can't wait to see you this weekend.
