:) This Sunday we wrap up 5 years of regular Sunday meetings.
Service is from 1:00 until 2:00.

Light pot luck before, from 11:00 - 12:45.

This Summer, we will likely be going back to having our Regular Sunday Meetings in the morning - with pot lucks to be held afterwards.
:) <3 Peace

Some friends were visiting us on their way from the mid-west to Porcfest.  They'd never been to Grafton before, and got her around 9:00 on Saturday night.  She'd been driving and he'd been napping.  Once they got here and we discussed what they might want to do on Sunday, she immediately told him about this amazing church with all sorts of peace art that he needed to see.  Given that they're die-hard atheists, getting either of them to compliment a church is an achievement!  But, the combination of the art and the message of peace managed it.  They went back to check it out in daylight, yesterday, to see it in daylight.

They may, end up moving here in the next couple years.  They have a crazy notion that they should figure out employment and housing before moving...

Sad we all missed each other :( I was out front practicing guitar, etc. quite a bit (a few short trips inside) around that time Saturday night.

This is my "10:07pm" Peaceful Assembly Church facebug-page post very shortly after I came in:

"Wow! Really. Just another one of "those" days.
A few things of today: Outside Zen gardening early enough to get this picture of sun coming over the hill, ... Total makeover of water station, ... "Tons of tidying" near rail trail, ... Helped rail trailers who were broke down and stranded, ... work, work, work, ... THEN,"something" kept telling me (over, and over, and over again) to stay outside as it kept getting later and later. ... Eventually someone came by who was in a bit of a crisis, ... More folks came by, and I played Let Me Call You Home, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, and Down By the Riverside/Study War No More for them all. Got "quite meaningful" responses. ... SOLID/ VERY solid Forgiveness messages delivered - and received.
I'm exhausted. A very good kind of exhausted."
