We may be able to get some stuff on here. They asked us a few months ago to do a show, but it wasn't up and running yet. I guess it is happening now.

Roger .... should we give them your video?

FTL_Ian

Eventually, I'd like to see a weekly 30 min production focusing on the Liberty movement in NH.  It could air in Keene and anywhere else we could get it on.

I can envision at least three parts to the program:

Civil Disobedience coverage
Political Activity coverage
Copwatch segments

Though I'm not sure if using public access is very principled.  Perhaps it's one of those, "we already paid for it, we should get our message on it" situations.

Public access isn't paid with tax money. It's a requirement placed on cable companies who are granted exclusive franchise. (Utility franchises do amount to an indirect tax, since they cause higher prices due to decreased competition. But that's a different fight.)

I think public access is dying -- satellite tv and now internet video are making it a dinosaur. I haven't had public access cable in years.

Why not create a video podcast, and also provide it to cable companies that want it? The internet would provide you a much larger audience, and footage could be used to recruit for the FSP.

Great suggestion, of course it should be a podcast! :)

We don't have public access where I live and I hope it stays that way.

A Pod-Cast is an excellent idea.

In fact we could have an entire local cheep cable channel devoted to video podcasts. The Mises institute and the Freedom News Network both have video Podcasts constantly that -- if we could get permission, could easily fill a typical broadcast day.

Don't know what kind-of money that would cost though.

Well ... it might be helpful to use their equipment ..... and some people will watch the channel.

The lady across the street from us just came over.  She'd been at the car dealership and the TV was on (they don't have TV either) and said she was so surprised to see Russell on TV.  Said she thought he was a good speaker.  It must have been his speech at PorcFest.

FTL_Ian

;D  That was my favorite part of Roger's DVD.

Dare I mention Lauren and Russells Two standing ovations?  ;D
The optimist in me thinks that civil disobiediance, and tax defiance are popular among even 'political' freestaters.
btw, they were I think the only one who recieved any standing ovation.
