Scientific American thinks there will be a shortage soon.... time to stock up?  Makes me want to at least save pre-1982 pennies, which are mostly copper and probably worth more than a penny each now.

You wanna stock up on good grade copper, go to nearby construction sites, like new homes and pick up after the plumers and electricians.  I used to collect back when I was a laborer, got some decent money out of that too.

I'd suggest you make sure they're through with it first. And that it's not actually attached to anything. They frown on that.  ;)
