I'm trying to determine how much a freedom insurance could expect to spend on advertising in various papers.  I see these different rates "per column inch"  what does that mean...one inch square?   one inch long but three inches wide?

I believe it is one column wide and one inch tall.

Don't you wish all papers quoted rates like the Keene Free Press?
You have to find out how wide their column is to do the math.
