Liberty Library?

I think I read a long time ago that someone wanted to start a library for Liberty oriented materials.  I don't recall who it was or if anything was ever done.

If someone has done this, I'd like to get in touch with that person as I was unpacking some stuff last night and came across all of my Libertarian audio cds by luminaries like Harry Browne, Mary Ruwart, and Michael Cloud.  I've listened to them and will not likely ever listen again so they aren't doing me any good.

I also have a couple of books that I'll contribute as well.

Is this Library concept actually in effect yet?

I don't actually know the status right now, but the people to talk to are Jack Shimek (jaqeboy on this forum), or rocketman probably knows.

Jack Schmeck is, I believe, actually constructing such a library as we speak.
You should get in contact with him partly to discuss this, and partly because he knows so much about what's going on in the state.
I've sent you an email and cc'd Jack.

People have been mentioning a lot of different reasons for needing a full time office for liberty oriented stuff.  A liberty library would be another good reason.

I'm sure that we could find some good, high profile location for liberty stuff.  I'm not sure how much such an office would cost in Manchester, but I think that there are some abandoned businesses here that we could have for the cost of renovations.

A Liberty Library Laundromat.  We'll clean up City Hall in no time.

I could probably donate a couple books when this thing is up and running...

My understanding is that it's up and running already.
Contact Jack.

He tells me it's getting there, but not quite.
