Looks like Montana is going to be the first state to tell the congress take that law and shove it >:D

QuoteOther states with bills: Hawaii, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Vermont and Washington. State Rep. Jim Guest of Missouri, a Republican leading a national coalition against Real ID, said 30 states could pass measures opposing the law.
And New Hampshire is not one of them? I hang my head in shame :( Massachusetts has one, but we don't? Though I guess it's better than being one of the 20 that won't be protesting it. If you live in those states, you know you're owned by the feds.

I'm surprised that NH dems haven't tried to reject the ID yet. Oh, I forgot--they're welfare queens and will take any money from DC they can get their hands on.

I believe only about half the bills are in for the new session of the NH General Court.

This is the LSR for the bill that will prohibit Real ID:

2007-H-0297-R   prohibiting New Hampshire from participating in a national identification card system.
Sponsors:    (Prime) Neal M Kurk
James G Phinizy
Joel F Winters
Lars T Christiansen
Susan W Almy
Peter H Burling

So we do have a bill coming, the press just doesn't like to do their homework.
