Will Burlington's Sales Tax Go Up?

The sales tax in Burlington may be going up. Voters will be asked in March whether they support a local option tax of 1%. That's on top of the state's 6% sales tax.

I had to put up with 7.75% and 8.25% in SoCal before I came to NH. I love it here!  :D
Vermont is starting to get right up there with CA.

There is a good article in the Concord Monitor, online, by Mark Davis, Valley News,Jan 2.
'Sales Tax War Heats Up' about companies moving across the river to increase sales by not having to charge sales tax.
The address is a mile long, or, I would type the URL here.  How do I cut and paste something like that to a post?

If you use the url tag, you can make it so it doesn't show up a mile long.  I'll use parenthesis instead of square brackets to show you how to do it.  The real tag uses square brackets.

(url)(/url)  Here's your normal tag, just insert your url like this:

(url=http://paste.longass.url.here)Name of link here(/url)
