Thought this was interesting, although, not as practical as the beer bottle opener ring they sell.

If you put the micro chip in your right arm or under your eyebrow, you'll be all set for the NWO. ::) ;D

Are you aware of the controversy over RFID? 'Spychips'?   The kit is an expensive way of familiarizing oneself about how they work.  It might be a gateway for some 'electronic' guy or gal, to come up with a cheap way to read these things and/or neutralize them.

Yes I'm aware of the controversy.  Thanks for explaining about the kit, interesting. :)

I forgot to add this:

http://www.nocards.org/

I used to have that site on my favorites list until we bought another computer.  Hmm, I shop at Hannafords, I'm glad they're okay but I didn't know Food Lion owned them.

Hannaford Food and Drug Superstores and Shop & Save

(Bought in 99 by Food Lion, i.e., Delhaize, which heavily promotes cards in its other stores)

At least this was posted with the item....

Good for them.  I wish this thing could read embedded tags.  If we could
get a reader and access to the database we could go into the statehouse and
LOB and hunt for RFID tags, then see how long it takes to get the RFID
legislation that NH CASPIAN had been trying to get passed requiring a
warning on all products with hidden tags in the state of NH.

And if you enter through our web site a percentage of your purchase goes to support Homeland Stupidity. ;)

The nice thing about this kit is you get a sample of nearly every form factor of RFID tag that's out there today, so they're easy to recognize later.

The not so nice thing about this kit is that you have to connect a really HUGE antenna to read tags from any distance. Then again that's true of RFID generally.
