Moose lottery deadline is Friday

CONCORD – If you want to hunt moose in New Hampshire this fall, you have until Friday to get in your lottery application.

The state will issue 675 moose hunting permits this year, which will be selected in a random drawing June 22.

Anyone winning a permit can choose a hunting partner to accompany them. The moose hunting season runs from Oct. 20 to 28.

Applications can be submitted online or forms can be picked up from any license agent.
