Gotta love it when Money magazine and CNN start referencing Atlas Shrugged... either that, or be very, very afraid  :-\

Ogre

Incredibly, the author spins it backwards -- he blames all of America's problems on capitalism!

You're right!  I hadn't actually read the article when I posted the link, but I just read it... talk about missing the point.  :P

I agree with Ayn Rand on a lot of things, but I don't think she would have agreed with me that many of America's problems boil down to how hard it is to get good quality pot at a nice low price.

The trade embargo is to blame... 40 buck ozs of Santa Marta Red Bud. Ahhh... the good o' days

While moving in those fine folk Bill and Kate,
I made the comment that,  the bridge collapse,
was like something out of Atlas Shrugged.
I mean damn you have a scale of 1-100
your bridge scores a 50 and you don't think thats a problem?

As for that article, first Rand did not write that all the accidents and
degrading of equipment and non-compentant operation was only in government.

But a society that as a whole accepted the thought that things were not what they were,(A=A) but as they wished it were or as someone else said they were.

If any body does not see allot of this today.............

DAMN, I read the subject line and I thought someone was selling an Ayn Rand magic 8 ball.  That would be cool.

But wouldn't all the 'answers' be "You're wrong. Check your premises!"?   ;)
