I too was amazed at the people who seem to be available...

I guess I am 9-5 although today was 6am- 9pm.

Damn Toowm gets 23 days off a year... I am in the wrong business.

If you're salaried, which of course you are, you're 9-5, sweetcakes.
Looks like I'm not the only one with "salaried, flexible hours"
Can you add that as an option, sweetcakes?

Oh, did Chris smack you upside the head yet for my Sev 1 TAR that took three WEEKS to resolve?
I'm not in the tech support business, sweetcakes. I make wicked database features.

Uhm.. support doesn't make the bugs sweetcakes..... the makers of 'wicked database features' do. :P

No need to, everyone in the hospital gets the same time off.

Every one of you who answered "self-employed and can set my own hours", "retired", "living on savings", and "supported by parents/spouse" should really, really consider running for State Rep!! Please!!!

Oh d_, you are so funny.  I was thinking that every one of you who answered "40+ hours a week" should really, really consider streamlining your house, food, work, electronic gadgets to one tenth of what they are now and enjoying all the free time walking in the woods and observing the flora and fauna.

One of the primary reasons I work is to pay off the various people and entities to whom I own large sums of money.  I still find time to walk in the woods and enjoy flora and fauna.  They're just short walks.   One day, they'll be longer.  :)

Same here, only in my case it will be because I got lost and can't find my way out of the woods.

I wouldn't be eligible until the 2010 election cycle. But I'll think about it between now and then.

I don't run for office, but my vote is up for sale. Running for office would cost me money and time on the :treadmill:

I chose "odd jobs to get by"

Thats the reason I like to go in the woods.  :)

Working in the evening and night is good for attending daytime events.  That way you have the day free
if needed.  You just have to remember to sleep.

Technically I'm self-employed at the moment but since that's not bringing me any sort of income, I put living on savings. I'm on a planned sabbatical to pursue some creative projects including a novel, maybe a screenplay, and suddenly drawing cartoons for various freedom projects.
