Second annual Concord/Lakes Region Job Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 4 Pembroke Road in Concord.


The Job Fair is designed to assist workers with and without disabilities to secure employment with local companies. It is developed by the state of New Hampshire Governor's Commission on Disability in coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Education Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, the N.H. Division of Economic Development's Business Resource Center, New Hampshire Division of Personnel, New Hampshire Employment Security, the Developmental Disabilities Council, Granite State Independent Living, Statewide Independent Living Council and the Workforce Opportunity Council.

Applicants should be prepared to fill out job applications on site. Participation in the job fair is free.

Work is work, sure. And you can apply to all those nice state and federal government agencies at the nice state-organized job fair!

I came here without a "job" and frankly I still don't want one. Life is much better without it. :)
