It seems the "chief" likes teenage girls. Why is this asshole is this position? The amount of abnormal incident reports concerning gooncops is at an all-time high. I think both of these neurotic jackbooted mofos should be shit-canned.

Checkpoint

Looks like Sgt. Kuehnlein has a rap sheet that includes convictions for theft and assault along with an acquittal for drunk driving and a second arrest for assault that didn't result in charges.

Get this - the reason why this wasn't reported on sooner is because a judge sealed this guy's arrest record in 1998 because he was having a hard time finding work as a cop...

QuoteIf people think police issue too many tickets, they should slow down, he said. "They go 10 to 15 miles over the speed limit there, and they need to be corrected."

Edit: deleted, because it duplicates Checkpoint's post.

With 3,300 speeding tickets in a year, maybe the speed limit is set 10-15mph too low.  It'd be interesting to see what the 85th percentile speed is on that stretch.

Boo hoo, he baits them!!!  It really wouldn't matter if he baited them if cops knew how to act.  I remember seeing this kid's previous video.  Now, maybe, just MAYBE, the problem isn't the kid, but rather the cops he keeps making asses of.  Maybe this kid's part of the solution to the problem of bad cops, instead of a problem himself.

Of course the assbag cop's lawyer is gonna try to make the kid out to be the problem.  Anything to direct people's attention away from the real problem, out of control cops.

Here's a video and transcript of an interaction Darrow had at a DWI checkpoint:

A St. Louis-area police forum contained threats against Darrow months before the latest incident.

Seems like there's no shortage for cops threatening to invent charges when someone has done nothing illegal.

This is a brilliant letter of complaint, by the way:

I hope he doesn't settle for a letter of apology from the chief.

I hope McDonalds will do a better background check than the St. Georges police department. Looks like Mr. James Kuehnlein will be needing an application.

(KSDK) - A St. George, Mo., police officer whose verbal tirade was caught on tape and seen around the country on the Internet was fired Thursday, St. George Police Chief Scott Uhrig said. Click here to watch the video (Language may be offensive to some viewers)

The St. George board of aldermen met behind closed doors Monday night and on Tuesday they notified Uhrig that Sgt. James Kuehnlein was out of a job pending the outcome of an investigation by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office.

Brett Darrow, 20, the driver who recorded the Sept. 7 altercation with Kuehnlein, said he is glad he had his camera rolling and is even happier to see the officer terminated.

City leaders are now reviewing police department policies and procedures, as well as looking at ways to change background checks and hiring procedures.

Travis L. Noble, Kuehnlein's attorney, said he will meet with his client soon and decide if they will appeal the termination.

What gets me is that' say he was fired for the language and not turning on his video.

Why is the fact he was going to make up charges, said he couldn't see a blinker(Simple police observation, which was on and so on.  Why are those not the reason.

If it was based on the language and filming I wouldn't want him fired, I would only expect a warning or a temp suspension.

Checkpoint

According to this article:

http://www.thenewspaper.com/news/19/1988.asp

St. Louis cops are following through with their threats of harassment and retaliation against Brett Darrow whose videotape of police harassment resulted in a local cop being fired.

Brett now has photographs and videotape of local cops staking out his house on a regular basis.

I guess they haven't figured out yet that Mr. Darrow is a man whose ready, willing and able to keep and bear his video cameras whenever threatened by out of control cops.

He followed and videotaped police cruiser #65 after making note of their stakeout and attempts at harrassment.

You'd think the po leese would be a little more discreet. You'd also think that the brain cell would overtake the testosterone producing glands sooner or later.

Looks like they are trying to intimidate this young fella by their (wholly unnecessary) presence. Between all of his tapes, the forum postings and the clumsy antics of some members of the the SLP, this is going to make for an interesting lawsuit.

I wonder if the funds for the department's legal fund are made up of a higher percentage of tax dollars or union dues?

Anyone know what kind of camera setup he used?

Listening to the video at first I thought okay the cop was sounding pretty nice and maybe there is a lot of car break ins at this place
Somebody else's crimes are not probable cause. The last thing we should be doing is making excuses for them. If Mr. Darrow really had any criminal intent, he wouldn't have just driven right by one of them and parked right there ;)

I was curious as to what he meant by it going to a secure source. I am glad we have Brett Darrow.

The way the police are reacting... Why do so many forget their oath? Why do so many wish to cannibalize their own neighbors?
