There's a lot of open space for them to roam in but I've seen a few in the Concord farmland area.

You'd be hard pressed to see a deer in NH.  I've only seen two or three in nearly 4 years.  I don't think they need control.

Rick has seen a couple of deer going to work and we've been here for a year.  I don't think thats too many to see in a year.  He drives I think it's 200 miles a day.  In Maryland I used to see deer a lot because they started tearing down the woods and building houses.

The one thing I personally loved about seeing New Hampshire for the first time was that animals will never be  totally kicked out of their natural habitats, they have all of these mountains which there's no way anyone's going to ever build on.  To me it felt real good knowing we were going to be living in harmony with the animals of this state.

I hated seeing what these developers started doing to Delmarva right before we moved.  Tons of trees cut down, tons of new houses being built when the population there didn't even require a mass build up of homes.  Gosh, I hope this post makes sense, I had a long night last night. :)

I see them all the time on the way into my house...I've killed one who charge the vehicle from the left, and almost killed another a few months ago.
They roam in packs of 2-5.
I had to stop and wait for them to stop prancing in the street.

Another night I had one nearly charge the truck from the right.
It's the most active 3-4 days before the full moon, just like fishing for stripers used to be :-)
