My 14 yr old daughter has the shortened John Galt monologue memorized and did it in front of her drama class in public school for an audition :D

Sometimes I agree, but if you take the speech in whole, it is probably one of the best philosophical treatise written in the 20th century. It wasn't good for fiction, but it's damn good for a semester class on the nature of the human mind in relation to Nature.
