One of the bills allows boys to go into girls bathrooms and vice versa.  I would have loved to do that as a kid.   >:D  Geesh, where were the ohio versions of california politicians back when I needed, wanted them.   ;D

RattyDog

How does this make sense to these people?? Are they on drugs? I just cannot imagine a universe where this makes sense to anyone..."Mom and Dad are homophobic words"...what are these monkeys smoking??

Unfathomable. When we see a shooting at a school (think VTech and Cleveland right of the top of my head), they try to go on about how the person had a checkered past and we should've known, could've prevented it, etc. But the moment they have a chance to... they go after the parent of the intended victim??!

It angers me that anyone who tries to opt out of the machine is treated so horribly.

From the article:
QuoteThe complaint letter, filed by a counselor at the school, essentially said, "I couldn't adequately teach," Nicholi said. But she said juvenile authorities would not let her touch, or even see the letter, instead reading from it to her.

"There are no legal grounds [for the complaints]," she said. "But I still have to prove I'm not guilty of educational neglect."

According to HSLDA's Missourri page, no qualifications are required for homeschooling, and there is no duty to notify.

If that's accurate, she's definitely being persecuted.

And more:  the southern California locgovs plan to fluoridate their water supplies real soon.

http://www.ewg.org/reports/cafluoride

Only very expensive water filtration systems will remove fluoride (a tiny halide) once it's in there.

Sounds like a nice little racket the manufacturers of that filtration system have. But, aren't there chemical means of removing fluoride?

Bald Eagle is our chemistry expert here and can probably come up with something.

Menno is, too. Even better, he can probably tell you how to make it explode.

While attending an Anarchist conference at Hunter College in NYC in the early 70's I was in a Men's room standing in front of a urinal when a Lady walked in, sat down in an open stall behind me and immediately let loose with what sounded like a healthy stream.  Thank goodness I was past the point of no return.

I usually call people freestaters but I like that term, freedom statesmen. It sounds like it'd be a good term for freestaters running for office, in particular.

Oh, and I think Menno's forum name is srqrebel.

Anyone who home schools should be a member of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association.  They've done alot for home schooling.  They're very fundamentalist Christian (because that used to be pretty much the only type of people who home schooled), but they'll give you legal representation if you need it and membership is only like $100 per year.
