That's one thing I used to excel at- hitting high notes. I don't know if I still can. Taps is usually played on a bugle which has a very limited range of notes since it has no keys. In fact, I'm not 100% certain, but I believe taps makes use of every note that a bugle can hit. We can put a constitution on the burning porcupine and I'll give taps a try.  ;D

If I recall it's just "C" notes. I sucked at high notes. I should have played Trombone or something.

Russell Kanning

We visited the location today. It looks great.

If we help develop the site it is an investment for future shindigs. This could really turn into something cool.

Could we build a covered area like you see in some public parks? That would be cool.

Russell Kanning

I think that is a grand idea.
So when should we have our groundbreaking/construction party on the site?
When do we light up our first burning porcupine?

Kat Kanning

Doesn't lloyd like building picnic tables?

What does a kangaroo taste like?  ;D  :o

I tried kangaroo one, it was very chewy, tasted a bit like beef.

Radical_Teen

I am looking forward for this event.

The trick is to have cut and milled those planks a couple of years ago ;D
Bob may go for some kind of structure, but, that would consume time. A couple more tents like my 'big one' might suffice this year.
Yes, I do make picnic tables, but, not those, unfortunate 'Manly Tables'

Kat Kanning

So do you make girly picnic tables?

dalebert

OMARM! I just got a great idea for another toon to do for Burning Porc.

Hold on a minute, while I go create a time machine for you -- problem solved! :D

Some have said that.  I prefer to refer to them as gender non-specific.  A simple park like table screwed and bolted like the image here, but, the tops on mine are wider than most, and made of wider, thinner boards, rounded.

srqrebel

Very nice table, Lloyd.

You could probably make a decent living making those.

Ah, the gender equity picnic table.  I like it.  I bet your tables are nice.
