Speaking of scams, one of my favourites is the HIV/AIDS hoax. In case you haven't been deprogrammed of that one, check out www.AliveAndWell.org.

Rainey, you need a space between the colon and the "T".

:occasion14: That's a good one too!

I was having a long conversation with my friends younger sister (7th grade) which kept leading me to telling her a variety of things are scams, and it led to her saying "you think everything's a scam!"

and I said "exactly!"

however, I will tell you, getting wisdom teeth out may not be a scam, I was convinced it was, and now my teeth are becoming someone crooked from them coming in which I didn't think would happen, and while this somewhat bothers me, I can't see any way it actually matters, and am not convinced my teeth perfectly lining up actually causes them to have optimal chewing potential, and I imagine they will continue to look fine from the front...and needing to have perfect teeth is a scam.

I still have my wisdom teeth and they're straight.

Dunno how we veered off into orthodontics, but I've had all four wisdom teeth fully grown in since I was 16. I even had a doctor argue with me about it when I was 19, until he counted teeth (including the lower wisdoms that were covered by my very swollen tonsils).

At 44, my 32 teeth are perfectly straight. I have one filling. I need a chip repaired in a front incisor (damn olive pit!), but other than that I have had no reason to see a dentist in over 20 years.

Must be the Cherokee genes.

Must be..its amazing how every third person I meet claims to have Cherokee ancestry. Boy they got around..

Must be because we were the most civilized of the five civilized tribes. ;) We're worth claiming.

Kudos to the Seminole, who held onto their land. Cherokees split into east and west over "forced removal", but at least they never bought into the reservation mentality.

My mother's father was born in OIT, and my mother in Oklahoma shortly after statehood. There's little doubt about the Cherokee heritage, even if there were umpteen-thousand "John Ross"es in OIT at the time of the Dawes Rolls. My grandfather was Benjamin Wilburn Ross, his father was John Ross, his father was John Ross, and John Ross was principle Chief of the Cherokee Nation during the right time frame... Well, we don't know about the direct ancestry, because our "mostly Scot" Cherokee ancestors did their best to "pass" as non-Indian. The photographic evidence pretty much nails them as Scot/Cherokee, though. High cheekbones, blue eyes, black hair... wanna see the family album?

LOL, it will take some digging and scanning, but I'll post when I can.

You might also want to google "global warming tax"  and "global warming control".

But instead of wading through all that, just read AGENDA 21 on the UN's website and you'll see what the real purpose of scaring the bejeebers out of our little kids is for.

All those links got cut off.

I fixed it. It was copied from a blog comment post that does that. Remedy: go inside to 'edit' and copy from there...
