William got a chance to stop in at Orange County Choppers and checkout the crew of the TV show American Chopper. We had to sign waivers because they got a shot of us watching the action... although it is not too likely to end up in an episode.

Fun and I even hate loud cycles :-)

I'm not even really a fan, but the fabrication and stuff is interesting...

Prompted William wanting to learn to weld and try some metal working... which thanks to Jim he now has some welding and metal working experience... We have to finish the mondo broad sword project.

Hot welding is much easier...   yuck-yuck-yuck

I tell William that he has more experience at welding than I do. Jim showed him arc welding and he did some TIG welding... Johnson is one talented dude.

Sorry Kat my mistake, got several things I'm doing at the same time... I wanted it to be unlisted. Hopefully it is the correct setting now.

"The bird feeder's not dead, it's merely resting!"

Jim Johnson

Hey, did Becky put that "bird" feeder out there for you?
What's the matter, run out of picnic baskets?

Bears never visit me.

I made sure to tell William that it's perfectly safe to go up and hug a cute little baby bear...as long as you give the Mother a pic-a-nic basket first! ;D

It was so cool to see them right outside the kitchen window.  We've seen bears here before, but never a whole little family.
