William made this box as a gift.

Ash he milled himself from a tree on our property. Sapele Mahogany and Rosewood from an exotic wood place.
Hand cut dove tail joints.

Cool technique. Pretty difficult to do that, especially at that time. German TV had some great live music shows. Beat Club is a good one because at that same time frame US TV was doing lip sync performances.

Have a strong connection to that song. I have a vivid memory of driving down the road in NC in 78 listening to that song. A sort of wistful melancholy,,,
