Oh, can I put your letter and a little write up on what happened in the paper?  I hope there's pictures  :D
Absolutely.  :)

David

It was kind of anti climatic.  That is a good thing though.   :)

I think I was too busy reading the "politics is immoral" thread.   :P

Keeping an eye on the calendar is a good way to keep up with all event related items.  It's easy to miss stuff on the forum threads.

Canario "Right to Travel" revolution spreads

Sponsored by the Keene Free Press:  http://keenefreepress.com
Local 26-year-old takes risky step for controversial cause.   David Krouse of Keene, New Hampshire becomes the latest activist to use civil disobedience against drivers' licensing/registration.  This is video of him submitting a letter to State Troopers yesterday, telling them he will not pay a $100 lack-of-registration fine.   This follows the 36 day imprisonment of Winchester resident Lauren Canario, who refused to show license or registration to police in October.

I thought of a delay tactic you can use in the court, David, keep asking people to speak louder and cupping your hand over your ear.  That ought to throw some glue into the wheels of injustice.

David

;D  I think it is a bad idea to do that for one very big reason-credibility.  I hear just well enough, or bad enough, that I am sometimes accused of selective hearing.
Update: I finally sent in the ticket at the last possible date and still be 'on time'.  I pleaded not guilty.
I'm not a legal beagle.  So I prolly won't delay anything.  Just make it clear that I will not accept extortion, and that I am prepared to go to jail.   I am mentally preparing myself for the difficulties I will have if the gov't steals my car.  Although I don't think that will happen immediately.
The embassy of heaven guys had to in some cases do this several times before the locals would ignore them.  So if they steal my car, i'll be in the market for a used cheap beater.  The crappier the better.   ;D
