Was Kat able to give you the purple fleece jacket for your daughter?  :)

I just checked with Anna, yes, thank you very much!  :D

Yeah that one never even got worn. She'll be warm and cozy in it.  :)

Why would you post something like that?  Your objection to the decision to remove the political action talk has been duly noted, I'm sure . . . .  What are you hoping to gain by continuing to bring it up (in several threads) in such a passive-aggressive manner?

Actually, I don't object.  I posted early that I supported Kat and Russell's right to define the limits of their forum...

Wow that's nice.

Both yours and Anthony's posts were pretty aggressive versions of "STFU" . . . .  Yours just used more words and less profanity.

No it was an aggressive version of making fun of him for being a little cry baby

Gosh, I guess I'm just too sensitive today, I'm usually better at this (or at least I hope so, I do it for a living).  I'll bow out now; my apologies :)

I'd like to see a board for philosophical debate... so I could ignore it.  ;D

Or maybe just move this one to Endless Whining and Debate.  ::)
that is true .... we could move it there ... it has now attained the proper length ... at it would be nice for some to ignore it. :)

It worked on me ... I laughed at Seth's post. :)

If anyone is interested in reading a condensed version of this thread, Party Dialogue fits the bill.  George H. Smith wrote this piece as a hypothetical conversation between a political libertarian and an anti-political libertarian.  I was amazed at how closely it parallels our discussion here (if you ignore the tangents and the polar fleece ;)).

Wow, that really ought to be at the very top of the thread. You're right. He wrote it 30 years ago and it mirrors the back and forth in this thread. He's like Nostradamus!  8)

... or ... some people just keep having the same conversations :)

Thus proving debates like this really are beating a dead horse... ;D

Okay on to a more interesting conversation that you pitched while I was AFK for ten minutes this weekend (while the thread added 10 pages).

No individual rights?  Explain yourself or I shall be forced to point fingers and call people immoral! ;)
