Ideas for Dalebert cartoons :)  I don't have one right now, but do from time to time.  I can't imagine this would be too helpful, but he said we could suggest things.  It seems like it'd be a real personal thing, what inspires.

Anything, that has Dick Cheney in drag
would be funny.

Maybe Dick and the ghost of J. Edger Hoover in
drag, discussing the best rights violations, they
came up with.

Don't forget Rudy. He apparently likes dressing in drag.

i have ideas too sometimes...need to get in the habit of thinking them up

How about a cartoon entitled: "The Grip of Tyranny".

Basically it is a big clenched fist and held in the fist is Uncle Sam, or a random citizen. (like if you were holding a sign on a stick the hand would be closed with the fingers horizontal)  The picture would show the front of the fist, i.e. that part that when you punch, makes contact.
On each of the fingers is written horizontally: "Police state, taxation, secret prisons, denial of liberty..." ect.

At the bottom a tag ling could be: "Pretending it is not there will not help make it go way."

Hopefully you get the idea.

I was thinking of a montage of the Bill of Rights amendments broken by government:
1: Free Speech Zones
2: Gun-free Zones / VA Tech or Columbine
4: Landlord losing their house because of renter's drugs
5: Jose Padilla
6: Lauren

Judge Muirhead as Gollum saying to Lauren, "What has it got in its pocketses??"

Judge Burke in front of a group saying "Stand up, sit down, shut up.  I didn't say Simon Says...you all get 90 days in jail!!"

I almost did the first one, but was worried it was a bit too obscure. I really like the 2nd one! I think that's going viral so I don't think it's too obscure at all, particularly since I just blogged about the incident.

In the 1960s, MAD ran photographic montages involving the Ten Commandments, the national anthem, and the preamble to the Constitution, all exposing various hypocrisies.  As far as I know, they never covered the Bill of Rights.  (I do recall a Playboy illustration of it covered with editorial emendations.)  Of course, there may be some problem with that third one, which I believe remains staunchly sacrosanct . . .

Do it!!!! With the attention on this right now, it's a good time to show the futility of the system as well as keep people engaged. I know that my site's traffic is up signifigantly since Ian got arrested and with other liberty-oriented things on my blog I'm hoping that it can get more people interested in this whole "liberty" thing.

I love it.

Speaking of Burke, does anybody have a good photo of him?  I hope someone shot him real good, with a camera, of course.  We need mugshots of all the evil-doers.
