New free stater wondering where to live

If you're looking to rent, $860/mo will get you a nice, quiet, fairly spacious 1BR unit at the Washington Park complex.

I'd be looking to rent, but $860/mo is superduper outside my range for a 1BR  . I was hoping to find someone to room with in a 2BR for a similar price to that (on up to about the $1000/mo range).

I think they have 2BR units in the WP complex in the $1K/mo range.  I forgot to mention that the rent includes heat, cooking gas, off-street parking, attic storage, a gym, tennis courts, and swimming pools.
