Nope. Previously, they were doing gun searches in the high-crime poor neighboorhoods without even bothering to ask for permission.

With or without permission I thought they had been doing things like this in this fucked up state for years now. There are billboards all over the place put up by the state of MA and by cities asking for you to give them leads on "guns, drugs and gangs". Lovely.  ::)

It's so sad to see how the very cradle of American liberty has degenerated into the People's Soviet Socialist Republic. :'(

Hopefully parents won't be blindisded into letting the thugs in.

Its been like this in this state since the sixties. Not sure what happened exactly. Its so bad most folk in this state are raised heavily socialist and don't even know it. They make fun of New Hampshire-ites, saying they're backward, hick and gun-crazy. I can't tell you how many times I've heard a Massasocialist snort and make some kind of derisive comment about the New Hampshire slogan. Yeah, its bad here. REALLY bad.

And yet they're moving up here in droves.

I remember reading some article pointing out that Mass's population is going down, and businesses leaving. Gee, I wonder why? Of course the article didn't address any real reasons.

Er, if the parents want to know, why don't they just search the kids' rooms themselves?

That would be a violation of the parents' duty to respect their children's privacy.
