Is anyone surprised by this?

You should not be.

Words from my who is blame post (found here=http://newhampshireunderground.com/forum/index.php?topic=11327.0
)

"Almost every one here, knows that things are getting worse
with each passing month. I have heard many of us refer to
to the people who are causing it as immoral, illegal, dangerous
       violent,  and even evil.

Well I think many of them are. Now if you agree with that,
stop and think about what those words really mean.

Scary huh? You bet, do you think they are going away easily?
         Do you ?"

Voter fraud? In a straw poll?

It's the only way to prevent Ron Paul from winning.

Hopefully this helps mobilize people to talk about straw polls MORE. I routinely reference Ron Paul's straw poll strength, and send this link around to people who doubt the strength of his supporters: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/

I don't hear this position leveraged much, but I think it's worthwhile.

Also, not to hijack, and I'm not being passive-aggressive when I ask this, but is there a way to know whether a thread is getting too political on the board? Some sort of guideline or general rule? I'm really not that interested in high amounts of political discussion myself, but I keep up with the Ron Paul stuff out of a quiet desperation for the American people to somehow wake up.

IMHO
When a non-binding vote is being discussed... can't get more political than that.

Romak

There is nothing scary about any of these people. They are just plain evil. They are bullies pure and simple. They are very insecure and enjoy pushing people around to make up for something they are lacking. They are like a cop on a power trip. They are that person who talks over everyone else in a crowd to be noticed and feel important. They are that person who drives 50mph in the left hand lane without a care in the world. Thing is having people like this as an enemy to freedom is truly a blessing. They are easily countered by people with backbones. They wont fight to the end for their cause because they don't have the will to continue once someone stands up to them. And for the few that consider it they couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag and would be easily defeated. The enemies of freedom are only good at one thing, they know how to lie and convince other people to follow. What Ron Paul is doing so well is challenging their lies and waking people up. He is creating a nation of people who will always question everything, and this is how we should be. Politicians lie, the media lies, people in power lie all the time. And its about time a higher percentage of people are calling their bluff.

This is SO true! Thank you, Romak, for pointing this out.

Recumbent ReCycler

At the Strafford County Republican Committee picnic, we only allowed one vote per person, and Ron Paul won by a huge majority.  I suspect that if our chairman had done something like that, she would have been removed from her position and I would have taken her place.  Fortunately we have an honest chairman (Phyllis Woods) who always tries to do the right thing.
