Why don't you actually give a definition, to see if I will accept it or not?

Races do exist, and they are social constructs based on physical attributes of a hereditary group.  Much the same way that dog breeds exist.  We can still interbreed and we can all see the outward physical differences.

I'll address the other issues later, but let's address the definition first.

I've already punched that one full of holes by demonstrating other groups which meet that definition (such as brown-eyed people) which are clearly not "races."

I went and did the research.  I found the article where DUNBAR made his claims about interpersonal relationships.  If you want me to see some other viewpoint, especially one you are trying to convince me is correct, I think you should be the person supplying the material you are basing your statements on.  That is the way that arguments work.  I make claims and I support them with references.  Yet, you are making claims and asking me to supply your references.  "I'm not a freakin' tutor."  Go ahead and support your claims if you can, and if you can't; deny or recant the claims.

Sandooo is correct and IMO these are the unwritten rules of internet discussion. Far too often, discussions open for debate are practically impossible.

I think some folks just like to argue...
and the only tactic they use is making the other guy jump through hoops.

REAL debating is quite fun and educational. A moderator plays referee and everyone gets a fair shake. It is a shame grownups can not even rationally hold a conversation.

I'm not asking anyone to moderate this thread.  Is it "fair?"
I don't like that this thread went in a different direction than I planned.  Is that fair?  YES!
Do we need a moderator?  No!
Is it "fair" that this woman needed to wait for her recognition?  I just found this woman today, Kola.  She is now - as you might say - "one of my favorate" blacks.
