Dollar Tree in Hooksett is currently selling AA batteries for just 13 cents each!   They are generic (sunbeam) heavy duty not alkaline, and expire in 2010.
I like the non alkaline since if you accidentally run the battery down you haven't wasted as much money...

Since I don't use batteries that much I just bought one pack.  But if you want some and are willing to pay me a 2 cent markup I might pick up more.
You'd be paying 15 cents a battery.  Lemme know.   I'm not sure I'll be at the store again soon, but maybe the price will hold out for a while.   Or just head over to the 'tree and get the 13 cent price.
