9-11 was NOT an inside job

There's a thread on this forum called "9-11 was an inside job" where people have been posting evidence supporting that claim. Unfortunately there hasn't been a thread to post evidence to the contrary, so that thread has become overrun with differing arguments against and endless distractions to its intention.

In the interest of fairness, there should be a home thread for people to feel comfortable to discuss all of the proof that in fact 9-11 was NOT an inside job.

Here's a start, and feel free to jump in with evidence which you have found 

19 fundamentalist Muslim hijackers, directed by Osama bin Laden, took over 4 commercial airliners with box-cutters and, while evading the air defense system NORAD, hit 75% of their targets. In turn, WTC buildings 1, 2 and 7 collapsed due to structural failure from fire in a "pancake" fashion, while the plane that hit the Pentagon vaporized upon impact, as did the plane that crashed in Shanksville.

The 9-11 Commission found that there were no credible warnings for these acts of terrorism, and multiple government failures prevented any adequate defense.

It hardly matters any more what really happened on 11 September 2001. Whether it was done by the U.S. government, planned by the U.S. government, or planned by somebody else and carried out by 19 Arabs with box cutters, the bottom line is that it has been the equivalent of Germany's Reichstag Fire for the Bush administration. No matter who were the terrorists on 9/11, the Busheviks are today's terrorists, continually moving the U.S. closer and closer to fascism by scaring the people into going along. And if the Democrats win the presidentcy in 2008, you can bet that they'll take on the terrorist mantle, and continue to trade freedom for imaginary security.

That would be the Commission's finding. But it largely didn't matter who. Its much more important the we see the 'veil' as just that... and nothing more.

Not a good guy . . . just not a stone evil guy.  I stubbed my toe today, and Dick Cheney wasn't involved (at least, to the best of my knowledge ), but that doesn't mean he's a "good guy" in the story.

You "9-11 truthers" already have a thread going; this thread was started for people to post their findings which supports the official story and contradicts all the nonsense and pseudo-science that the "9-11 truth movement" is propagating.

It matters who did it if you're going to place your trust in the US government or not.

A government that capitalizes on terrorism and kills millions is trustworthy, but if they killed an additional 3000 or so, that would the the tipping-point to "untrustworthy?"

The government isn't worthy of trust, regardless of whether some among them were behind the September 11th attacks.
