My son is a very ill young man tonight, in the hospital in very serious condition. He's 150 miles from me and in good hands, and I'm a bit on edge that I can't be there with him. All of us who love him are worried sick.

   God of Moses, God of Abraham, God of Isriale, father of Jesus, I pray for my Brothers Son who is in need of your strength and healing.  I know suffering is not of you but of the evil one. 
   Lord God, please heal my brother and comfort his family in our time of need. 
   Yours is the Kingdon, the power and the glory.  May your will be done, Lord, but my will is for my young brother to be fully healed for Your glory.

I haven't been able to check on the forum before now, because I worked 18 hours today. I was on the phone with his mom and step-dad throughout the day, though. He's doing a little better tonight, and we're hoping he'll be able to leave the hospital by Friday or Saturday.

Geesh. Some kids will do anything to get out of semester tests. (Sorry, Bub! The tests will be waiting on you when you go back to school after the break!  )
