But Russell, isn't the term "fed private property" a total oxymoron?

Isn't the notion of public property just plain old socialist fiction?
I agree. I was just using his term.
It is funny when a government thug tells you are tresspassing on state property ... when they pretend they work for us.

I don't know. And to be honest, I don't know how these archetypes are made. Jung hasn't said so far that I've read, other than to imply that we all influence them. So what follows is my own best guesses and hopes:

I tend to think that it has to snowball. I can influence a few people, who influence a few people, etc.

I also tend to think that actual intent is important. There are many archetypes. Very few people are "possessed" by one, so it would seem to be a case of shades of grey, where people are influenced by both the harmful and the helpful archetypes, and simply choose the negative ones statistically more often. Packing a powerful punch to consciously reinforce certain beneficial archetypes in a conscious, intentful way, may do much to swing the balance in the right way.

Wholeness. It is my hope that persons who achieve unity and are dealing with this reality with their whole mind have a greater impact on the archetypes than those who are mentally "wandering" so to speak.

Strength. I hope and believe that the positive archetypes are stronger than the negative anyway. There is some basis for this belief, because good usually prevails over evil.

And this is my own religious belief, but I have to belief it is possible because Jesus said that we have authority over them, so that with conscious intent we may banish them. I realize most people will not find this particular line of thought much convincing, but I personally give great import to what Jesus said.

The parts of your post that I could understand, (because of me, not you), are very inspiring! :D

I like to ask them at what point a person living in Germany should have stopped paying taxes to support Hitler. Usually that gets a long silence, which I usually let sit a moment before breaking it with, "I think I would be guilty before God if I funded the fascist government we have in place now. In your opinion, should I obey you or God?"

Didn't you once tell folks that if you were in Nazi Germany and had Jews taking refuge in your house, and the SS came to the door and asked for them, not only that resisting the SS would be wrong, but also that you would have a "moral obligation" to tell them about the Jews, leading to their executions?

Gotta love those who think that collaborating in genocide makes them "morally superior" to those who would even do nothing, let alone those who would actually oppose the genocidal forces.

No, goon, that was Mike Fisher. If memory serves I told him that was a rather literalistic way to interpret scripture. it's all on the forum, so go back and find it if it bothers you that much.

god, i swore I wouldn't ever respond to you again, but I was reading the forum without being logged in, and saw your slander of me. How's it been, maineshark? Your trigger finger still itching to hurt somebody, hoping they will transgress your rights so you'll have a chance to off them?

I'll go look if I get bored some day.  But I remember seeing it, and have had several people confirm that it was you, so I really don't care to waste time reading your drivel just to verify if you didn't say something.

Your statements in this very thread about the Nazis just being misguided, and that you would not do anything to oppose the genocide of the majority of the inhabitants of this planet lend credence to the multiple sources that list you as stating that...

Unlike slimeballs like you, I don't desire to hurt people.  The only way I have an "opportunity" to hurt someone is if they have attacked me, so desiring to hurt someone would be equivalent to desiring that I be attacked, which is asinine.  I can't just say "it was for his own good" and do absolutely any evil I want to him and imagine that I have a clean moral slate, like you.  You get to hurt anyone you want, as long as you can come up with some specious justification in your twisted little mind.

I've been attacked by folks who desired to kill me on a few occasions, and on every one, I managed to not even wound any of them, regardless of being justified in doing so if I actually desired to.  I have been in a position to demonstrate whether I actually want to use violence, when the option was fully mine to do so.  And I have demonstrated that, even when fully justified by a punk screaming his intent to murder me and with his hand on the butt of a pistol, mid-draw, I let him walk away without so much as a scratch.  Admittedly, I was in a good mood at the time, having just met the most wonderful woman on the planet, but I'm doubtful that my normal level of good cheer would not have sufficed to guarantee his safety.

You, on the other hand, have demonstrated a willingness to initiate force whenever you can derive personal benefit from doing so, and work up some twisted justification for it.

For example, you just came up with some justification to violate your previous statement about not responding to me, didn't you?  I'm sure you won't even lose a wink of sleep over that violation, will you?  Because it was "justified" by some sort of twisted image of logic in your head.  Maybe it was one of your other personalities that did it, eh?

It was good while he was gone ... if you respond to him he will stay. It would be nice if he just left and cleaned his gun and sharpened his knife elsewhere.

Actually, as long as you are going around representing yourselves as being "us" then "we" will keep posting here to make sure that others who happen to visit know that we aren't all Nazi-supporters like Caleb, and other such evil.

You get to live here in peace because people like me keep our guns clean.  Did you imagine that you would move to the most heavily-armed place on the planet, and find support for pacifism?  Why did you come here, if you are opposed to what we stand for?  Because you want to enjoy the peace and security that you get from our readiness, while disdaining the very thing that keeps you as free as you are...

talking to you like this Caleb ... makes me want to go disrespect some government property :pirate:

It is easy to see that you are not used to this business of adventures. Those are giants, and if you are afraid, away with you out of here and betake yourself to prayer, while I engage them in fierce and unequal combat.

JJ

I am curious to know how many times a peaceful means of civil disobedience has been employed against the government versus the number of times of clean guns have been employed against the government, recently?

Peaceful civil disobedience: 10, 200, 1000?
Clean guns: 0?
