FYI - From a Kucinich supporter:

*PLEASE FORWARD TO YOUR LISTS -- And build support for a brave man looking out for our interests.*

Please let's show Dennis we support him by donating to his campaign as he must pay for a recount of Diebold votes in New Hampshire and fight NBC for reneging on a invitation just 48 hours earlier to participate in the next Dem debate.

He can't do this without our help.  Donate to Dennis now.  Do not let the tyranny of the majority silence him.  We also must support him in calling attention to the problems with Diebold/Premiere voting machines

Thank you.

*FORWARD TO YOUR LISTS.  LET'S SHOW HIM THAT HE IS NOT ALONE.*

URGENT: Help defend the rights of American voters

Friends,

Once again, America is faced with questions about the integrity of machine-counted ballots and about the rights of Americans to decide for themselves who they should be allowed to vote for in this crucial Presidential election.

In New Hampshire, it's a question of whether votes were counted or manipulated. In Nevada, it's a question of whether the GE-owned NBC television network should have the power to decide who your choices should be for President.

The vote counts in New Hampshire are suspicious. And, today's decision by NBC <http://cms.dennis4president.com/go/homepage-items/nbc-un%11plugs-kucinich-from-presidential-debate/> to exclude Dennis from next week's Presidential debate - even though he met the criteria - is outrageous. And, we need your help to deal with both of these matters.

Because of the unexplained disparities between hand-counted and machine-counted ballots in New Hampshire, Dennis has asked for a recount. "I am not making this request in the expectation that a recount will significantly affect the number of votes that were cast on my behalf," Dennis said in his letter to the Secretary of State of New Hampshire. But, he cited "serious and credible reports, allegations and rumors" that question the integrity of the machine-controlled process.

*If New Hampshire agrees to a recount, this campaign will have to pay for it. And we can't investigate what happened in New Hampshire - or protect every other state in the Union - without your help.* <http://echo4.bluehornet.com/ct/2447309:2489702750:m:1:137878651:A92D6FFD5C087245E742D1E656EEF38D>

Likewise, NBC and MSNBC have made a corporate decision to exclude the one and only voice who represents you and those things that the Democratic Party should stand for. If you are as outraged as we are, feel free to call:

   * NBC/MSNBC at 212 664-4444 and ask for the Comment Line or
   * email NBC/MSNBC at letters@msnbc.com <mailto:letters@msnbc.com>

PLEASE share this message with everyone you know so that the voice of the people will be heard and their votes WILL be counted.

Strength through Peace,
The Kucinich Campaign

Paypal Freezes New Hampshire Recount Funds
Deadline missed as Granny Warriors' account is locked down

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Paypal has frozen the fundraising account of the Granny Warriors, a Ron Paul supporters group who had been pushing for a recount in New Hampshire, causing a 3pm Tuesday deadline to be missed and the application rejected for lack of payment.

The Granny Warriors had raised the necessary $55,600 deposit for the recount but at the last minute before it was transferred to the New Hampshire Secretary of State, Paypal blocked access to the funds.

Lloyd Danforth

I understand they got a loan and got the money in before the deadline.  In addition PP freed up their funds.

Kat Kanning

So the recount is happening?

Kat Kanning

Oh, I found this:

N.H. Primary Democratic Re-count Underway

WBZ-TV
Wednesday, January 16, 2008

CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ) Secretary of State William Gardner says his office is ready for Wednesday's re-count of New Hampshire's Democratic presidential primary.

Democrat Dennis Kucinich has paid $27,000 to Gardner's office to start the re-count. Election officials tell WBZ-TV that the recount could take up to a month.

Kucinich, who received less than 2 percent of the vote, says he is suspicious of the results, although he doesn't expect a re-count to change his vote count much. Kucinich alluded to online reports alleging disparities around the state between hand-counted ballots, which tended to favor Sen. Barack Obama, and machine-counted ones that tended to favor Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. He also noted the difference between pre-election polls, which indicated Obama would win, and Clinton's triumph by a 39 percent to 37 percent margin.

Deputy Secretary of State David Scanlan said Kucinich is entitled to a statewide recount. But, he had "every confidence" the results are accurate.

Kucinich has asked that the re-count start with Manchester ballots and spread out from there to other Hillsborough County precincts. He can stop the re-count and get a refund for the balance of the costs. To re-count the entire state would cost him about $70,000.

Republican Albert Howard of Michigan also has asked for a re-count but has not paid for it yet.

Gardner says he will get started with the Democratic re-count and if Howard comes up with the money later, he will consider the request then.

The re-count to began Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The pics I saw are pretty standard practice.  The party requesting the recount is allowed to have floor supervisors overlooking the process.  Not a single pencil or piece of paper is allowed anywhere near  the recounting participants seated at the tables.

Most of the folk who are in those recounts are paid whatever stipend RSA allows.  Majority of folk have participated in election processing for years and take their responsibilities gravely serious.

Transition:

Although too boring for most soccer clan members---deliberative session meetings forthcoming in most towns are great places to rabble rouse.  You do however need to be registered to vote to speak---if not the body has to allow you to speak, if you are not a town registered voter ---or are from out of town.  Because it is not uncommon for these sessions to last ten hours it usually unlikely to have outsiders being allowed to speak to the voting body.

This is where budgets are deliberated by the citizenry and that process which is televised helps voters vote up or down budget increase on March Ballots.

Kat Kanning

Really?  I bet it's politics as usual.

BaneOfTheBeast

Of course - I'm just disgusted that more people aren't speaking out, considering what a blatant scam it is.  :(

Kat Kanning

democrat recount is stopped from lack of funds.

This from Christopher Gronski yesterday of NH We the People:
====================================

Dear Patriots and Freedom Lovers,

PRIMARY ELECTION RECOUNT; WE NEED OBSERVERS

This is an URGENT ALERT. We need more than 20 people in Concord at the New Hampshire Archives on Fruit Street for tomorrow morning. A lot would be Perfect!

We are in need of observers to witness the Republican Recount. The purpose of this Recount is NOT to determine the outcome of the election (although that's ultimately important) but to determine if these DIBOLD machines are accurate or vulnerable to fraud and worth the money we paid for them. With the evidence from the Democrat Recount most of the machines were inaccurate. Check with Bob about the documentation of that.

I'm sure he'll have that information on the WeThePeople web site, at some time.

At this time the Democrats have stopped their recount at 30% for lack of funds.

If we are going to show the rest of the country that New Hampshire secures Liberty and Freedom and is concerned about the possibility of election fraud, then we need to do our part. We need your help in Concord until this is done. Our efforts will help the rest of the country ask. "Why would any local community trust a counter that's mostly wrong?"

Please contact Bob Schulz. He's at the Holiday Inn in Concord. Here's a Citizen from New York helping us in New Hampshire. Let's give him a hand. helping us. You can reach him on his Cell at 518-573-8046. He might be able to direct you as to where you can be most useful.

Please e-mail me if I can help. I will be there tomorrow morning. I hope I see you there!
