I am pretty sure many FSPers are on welfare. But you probably mean some very narrow definition of welfare.

do you know this for sure? it would really surprise me that people will pack up and change their lives for freedom and then take a welfare check.

Dave Ridley

I know no one on welfare .... including any of my friends that have moved with the FSP.
It would be hard for some of us to receive government money ... when we are undocumented. ;)

i think that not taking government checks when going through hard times is a great way to protest and show devotion to liberty. my entire family was sooo angry at me after we first had our baby and we were BROKE. every day they asked us to go on welfare. it was pretty sad that that is the only solution people can think of.
